Existing prepaid purchases remain non-renewing. No previous payment is automatically converted into a subscription.
A prepaid block stays up for 3 days after the time you paid for, then it is paused. Nothing is deleted. Legacy monthly subscriptions still have a 14-day grace period if a renewal charge fails.
